Thanks for the really thoughtful, honest comment on my last post. Though it’s sort of funny/strange/cool getting comments on a post that is at least half composed of comments! I feel for you, and totally get where you’re coming from. I am learning how to be less upset by shit that happens, learning how to let it go. That doesn’t mean I ignore it; it means I’m doing some version of what you are — allowing myself to react, to acknowledge it, and then try to just move on, rather than let it overtake me.
Sometimes I think the worst part of the reaction to something is then us battling with the reaction and judging or questioning it, as you yourself talk about.
Sounds like you’re making a lot of progress in dealing with this stuff, and yeah — it’s a big one for a lot of people, I’m finding.
