OK, so COD5 wasn’t in the stores today even though we pre-ordered. And honestly, I’m a little grossed out that they released it on Veteran’s day anyway so I think it’s better that we have to wait. Plus the delay leaves me free to bore the internet for one more day before my sabbatical.
Wandering through Target today I realized that the only way for me to avoid retail consumption this year will be to simply not go to a store, ever. So here’s my pledge to myself and the earth: Prescriptions will be filled online at drugstore.com. Groceries- local grocer. Household items-I’ll make a list and give it to my husband who is the only person in this house capable of darkening the doors of a box store without cruising the clearance aisle.
