Well, who’d have thunk that this year it wouldn’t be me getting cozy with The Crazy, but more that The Crazy would make a run for my house against my will!

I didn’t let it in. Instead I embraced the Happy:

I wore my new coat for the first time since I bought it at a thrift store for 8 dollars in October of 06 in preparation for our holiday trip to Asheville. Except that last Christmas was unseasonably warm in Asheville, so that I never had the opportunity to need the coat. I modeled Frances (I have named the coat. I love it that much.) for my husband, and he took pictures. I let him make me laugh:

Florida didn’t let me down this winter; this week the temperature plunged all the way to 29 degrees, twice.
