I want to be That Blogger who takes beautiful pictures of handcrafted foods to accompany my cooking posts. But I’m not her. So let me just tell you how wonderful it was tonight to discover that I could wing it and make my own chocolate syrup with Agave Nectar instead of sugar. So, so incredibly good.
1 to 1.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 17 oz bottle of agave
optional 1/4 to 1/2 cup water (I added water when I saw the thickness)
mix constantly while heating in small pan on stove
remove from stove when melted/combined, add 1/2 to 1 tsp vanilla
(I poured mine back into the Agave nectar bottle, and had leftovers which I had to find a home for. Some of it was consumed right away and the rest went into a sippy cup. I’m storing it in the fridge)

And tonight we had this for dinner. Also amazing.
