more ammunition for the haters. (Hi, stalkers!)

Another baby, another bout with PPD. Not much more I can say about that. Finally it hits me like a truck running me over, and coincides nicely with the advent of The Screaming. How long will the Screaming last? I don’t remember ToddlerA doing this; if she did go through it, the fact that I’ve forgotten is a good sign. If she didn’t, then I have to say I worry for my sanity. And the sanity of my family. This kid, and the screaming, might be what tips us over into crazy-town.

I might go away for a couple of days. Or I might start this new therapy that insurance doesn’t cover and that we can’t afford.

I wish I had the card reader with me right now; I have a picture to share. Laurie, keep checking back. This will blow your mind. I’ll try to get it up there tomorrow.

Two things were funny enough to make me laugh out loud today:

ToddlerA punched M in the nuts tonight. I know, I should really not laugh at that but god. Even though it’s so painful, the reaction is always, always funny to watch.

and…

Last week when we made TeenHer’s yearly appointment with the eye clinic, she and I were reminiscing about Hot Doctor, the impossibly cute guy who did her exam last year. Seriously, even SHE was blushing and she was barely 12. So we started referring to him as Hot Doctor. Now ToddlerA, whenever she’s bored, asks if we can please go see Hot Doctor. Guess who’s not coming with us to the eye clinic this year?

oh and…

Tonight at dinner we introduced the term Barking Spider to ToddlerA.(Click if you don’t know what a Barking Spider is)
One of these days, the potty humor and careless remarks are gonna bite us in the ass with this kid. But for now it’s funny. And for now, the sound of her laughter is worth the price I’ll pay someday.

Dude, who's the stalker?

Teenagers, screaming babies, fickle toddlers, oh my! You do have your hands full and more power to you! I'm not at the teen age yet but my daughter, age 3, is very much starting early and I can only imagine. Congratulations on keeping it together.

THE INSANITY! The humor! The seriousness! The wit! You are a multi-dimensional character, my love...Let's border up the entrance to crazy-town and burn that dreadful place down!
