So. today I have to go to a class to learn how to use a blood sugar monitor, Because ‘they’ are so worried about my huge baby that I must monitor my blood sugar! Four times a day!
Um, I’ve been doing that for almost 2 months now. Obviously, this medical emergency was so important to ‘them’ that the appointment for this class and the follow-up appointment with a REGISTERED dietician were made for me like, six weeks after they decided I’m having sugar problems?
Anyway. Therefore I’m up at 5:45 so that I can swing by heaven Panerea on my way to Sugar School. (Hello, the place is 45 minutes from here!)
The point of this whole post is to say that this morning for the first time in several days I woke up with minimal back pain. Yesterday I literally could not get out of bed for several hours after I woke up. If TeenHer hadn’t been home, seriously, we might be short one 2 year old here.
What did I do differently last night? Someone tell me! Help! I really don’t know. Maybe I’m simply in bed too long when I sleep the full 8 hours? Maybe God wants me to become a morning person? How can I go in there today with my litany of 24-hour pain complaints when I’m so damn chipper and I haven’t even had coffee yet?
